2. Purposes and data categories
Bouzek.com processes account and access data, family-history information, project permissions, contact-routing data, public research leads, uploaded media and technical security/audit data only for the corresponding platform functions.
3. Legal basis
Depending on the specific purpose, processing may be based on consent, performance of the user relationship, legal obligations or legitimate interests. Optional contact publication/relay remains opt-in. Special-category data requires an additional legal basis and should not be entered casually.
4. Public sources and genealogy research
Research leads may originate from publicly accessible websites, professional profiles, forums or registers. A public source does not prove kinship. Living people are not assigned to a family tree solely because their name matches.
5. Recipients, hosting and transfers
Hosting provider: ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich. Further recipients are used only where necessary for operation, communication or legal obligations. Any transfer outside the EEA requires an appropriate legal safeguard.
6. Storage and security
Data is retained only as long as required for the relevant purpose, family-history documentation, security, legal obligations or the defence of legal claims. Access control, audit logging, backups and restricted administration are used to protect data.
7. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may request information, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn for the future. You also have the right to complain to a competent data-protection authority.
8. Children and vulnerable persons
Do not publish contact details or sensitive information about minors without appropriate authority. Family-tree entries about children should be limited to what is necessary for the family-history purpose.
