2. Family tree

Single-click a person to focus the tree. Double-click opens the person card. Use Escape to close overlays. Do not guess relationships; uncertain information should remain marked as research.

3. Editing safely

Normal edits create an undo point where supported. Relationship removal requires an explicit warning. Canonical people are not deleted. Admins can create full family snapshots before larger changes.

4. Projects

Project access is individual. Public project pages are separate from internal project cockpits. If a project is not visible, ask an administrator for access instead of sharing credentials.

5. Independent people

Publicly found people are stored as research leads, not as relatives. Add a name and public source. Only move a person into a documented family tree after evidence supports the connection.
